It does make sense for a mute person to be able to use sign language even if they can hear. It's certainly faster than handwriting everything on a notepad if the other person happens to know it.

Request: make up a new group name to use when you post skipped chapters like this so those of us that don't want to be spoiled can block it. Blocking "no group" breaks too many non-skipped stuff.

We have those kind of cleaners in the US, too. Generally called "dry cleaners" around here, but they do general stain removal, too, usually.
