Decent enough premise but execution is pretty bad.

Where the manga translation's at now is definitely the high point of the series. LN ending was pretty garbage.

@bruh-san I've reread that final arc multiple times now. It's just perfect and it's rare to see a series this long nail the ending so well.

@IJustMadeThisToComment They did fuse with his monster form, but he's basically un-monstering right now so they unfused.

Such a good series. Finished it when the last chapter was first released, and that final page is just one of those images that have stuck with me forever.

@lovehydration yeah it's kind of interesting on re-read because I remember really disliking the series when it was just the first couple chapters when she's just like, straight sadistic. but the more current stuff is pretty adorable. Makes me think of MHA where the author's kind of stated...

@Kami_Nana between stuff like Nozaki-kun, Kaguya-sama, etc. It feels like having the boy be a good cook is getting fairly common in romcoms.
