Nah, almost. After this comes the Danchi arc, the one in the anime that happens before the sick Boushuu/Dora bomber arc. From the middle of volume 7 its all new though.

The main character putting the old guy in a hold reminded me of this author's adaptation of Garouden. Makes me curious about where he got those moves from.
