It doesn't really matter anymore since Amuro was revealed to be a double agent in Ch. 897 and Subaru = Akai being revealed to Jodie and Camel in Ch. 898 (with James Black having known all along since Clash) as a kind of a stand-in for the rest of the unnamed FBI team.

That case could still be about the BO, as Gin says in this very chapter that a "big event" is coming...
