Sorry, is this arc really saying "Hey, you have amnesia due to brain damage from significant trauma, how dare you you unforgivable bastard."
Isn't there any sort of limit as to how much someone can be blamed for things outside their control?
I can kinda agree with him in this case though. Most of the time, when you get an MC trying to pull back from another character it's because of cheap drama, sure, but going on here you have other people, multiple other people, telling him that he's been sabotaging her wellbeing by doing too much...
@Tangtay You mean rotten fish, rotten beans, fish sperm, maggot cheese, brains, eyeballs, snails etc etc
I think the worst British cooking ever did was turn anything they could catch into a pie. Is pastry such a threatening thing? Or here in Scotland, we deep-fry anything we can fit into the...
As I say, maybe it's just my interpretation going in a different direction. If the LN and the manga have refined the characters and scenes to be more in line with the author's intent, it can be assumed that the comedy is what is supposed to be taken from the work. I took the maid's comments far...
@JKTV It's not too dissimilar from the manga, but without any of the qualifiers which reassure both Euphie and the reader that she has restraint and will consider Euphie's wishes. The WN (not LN, my mistake, perhaps the LN is adding such elements like the manga is) seems to suggest that Anise is...
Having read the LN, I get the distinct impression that the manga really has to reach sometimes to make Anise's actions humourous rather than borderline abusive. Maybe it's just me, but the LN had the maid's attitude be much more serious rather than played for laughs, she really seemed to resent...
@Solipsist
That isn't how I interpreted what he was saying. He's saying an external threat unifies people who would otherwise fight with each other, but the heroine and her group, including him, were so powerful they made that external threat less significant, eventually getting rid of it...
I am confused as to why people are thinking Dark and Light refer to skin colour. We already know Makoto is Dark witch. I assumed it was referring to magic.
Alternative idea: the author is fucking with us all, and she really literally means she's going to be gone only for the next week. Or some similarly short period of time.
I'd both laugh and be pissed were this the case, but I'd prefer it over the more likely playing this straight because...
@ApolloX1209
I'm pretty sure Rory was teasing Leilei about having increased in size in a particular area, just above where her finger was. And Leilei completely missed the point.
