Huh. This was an actual good read, that's a surprise. At least, if it's not taken too seriously, that is. It's surprising that the author / mangaka managed to make all of that absurdist comedy work out like that.

@Angie7 Rather than lecturing people about morality, maybe try to read between the lines. my angle was that if they are "bad guys", that suggests that they assist the twins for a nefarious reason. And the black / white factions you talk about generally have one massive difference between them...

This feels like an ENORMOUS tangent, for absolutely no reason at all. Why would the MC even need the life-booster, in context of everything that has already happened? Sure, it'd be nice to "live longer", but why would that be absolutely necessary to just create a bizarre side quest like that...

...If this mysterious plot thread will have any payoff, that'd be genuinely amazing. I can't even imagine what the author is aiming for here.

This chapter gave me some strong Coiling-Dragon vibes, not in a good way. The author would always create new characters, and then just dump them by having the MC move away to somewhere else. Everything and everyone is a side-thought, and people have no meaning. Family, pets, friends, rivals --...

@Podi125 Sure, the old mantra "there are no bad tropes". It's more of how it was played out in context, which I didn't find particularly interesting. 'Like if the mystery was about her circumstances, then it quickly evaporated into: "she's just a walking corpse, that's all there is to it."

@zadzad Doesn't sound like much of a legit reason, tbh, considering that you can just buy eggs fresh on the market at the start of each day. People do the same for fish. The only problem may be with supply, which is fair game, but not to the point the prices get inflated.
