I really appreciate how quick the characters are in this. It feels a lot more like they are real people and not caricatures with incredibly low IQs

Whether it was the prince or the cardinal who planned it (I really suspect the cardinal more), she should've known a flirtation with the heir to the throne would be bad news for her and her family. She's been politically savy so far so it's kind of frustrating.

I think that's the most realistic shitty ex I've seen so far in a manga. Clearly not a cartoonishly bad person, but kind of stupid, oppressive and a terrible fit for the fl... It makes me want to stangle him a lot more. She sure dodged a bullet!
