@sheisthestars So deep down she believes in a MERITOCRACY. She has not said any thing about government getting more involved in peoples lives. She did not touch economics in this chapter though the last time she did it was... form trade deals. Though it was true she mentioned standard of living...

@bakauguu Unless there is magic involved or the writer doesn't know how corpses decompose I'd say under a week. The blood still had yet to putrefy. The corpses weren't bloated and not a lot of flies. All that means very recent.

I loved it. Wish there was more but alas that is how it goes. To have been longer and to have included more elements may have detracted from the main story, so I guess I'm fine with the brevity of the story. Quality over quantity as they say.
