Kinda reminds me of the way customs and border control agencies train their search dogs in many countries, whereby the dog doesn't bark or something like that but just "freezes" instead to not alert potential smugglers etc. that their (potential) contraband has been found.

If I understand it correctly, he would then no longer be "Jobless" and lose access to all the skills of that Class/Job. It was also made quite clear that once he changed out of Jobless, he could never get it back.
Dear (manga) author(s), have you ever heard of the concepts "smooth story flow", "consistent timeline" etc.?
Because this manga/story/abomination is a counter example to all of that.

Well, he healed her within his current means, ie. somewhat fixing her wings. IIRC, the promise goes that one of harem members companions/party members will fully heal Iris when she has trained and is strong enough for the task, meaning a few decades in the future from their meeting in...
