I think he really liked the stories, but seeing how Ji Ho doesn’t like them, and how Ji Ho doesn’t think he’d really like them, he decided to lie. Maybe so Ji Ho wouldn’t feel pressured to write? Or maybe because he feels disappointment at how Ji Ho thinks he would lie?? I don’t know.
