Seems like pretty standard kids stuff tbh. Not entirely convinced that it's something that'd give Shizuku this degree of self-loathing so many years after the fact unless something worse proceeded it... we'll see.
That full-black panel after Suika casually dropped the fact that she killed all of the demons really got me. Such a smart use of the 4-koma format, making the panel usually used for the punchline just... blank. What a way to suddenly raise the stakes of the story.

Fair enough, though I'd argue that recent chapters have shown that Hina is much more aware of Ai's manipulations than you're giving her credit for.

It's interesting to see how aware Hina is of what a bad person Airi is, and yet loves her nonetheless. Oddly heartwarming.

I have to hard disagree with this. Although the Hina/Airi clearly have some issues they need to work through, the fact is that what they were doing was consensual and didn't cause harm to others. Glasses girl is by far the most deplorable character in this manga, especially since it's...
