He did seem way too calm there and unconcerned as his teammates pushed on quickly. Even his initial hesitation to follow after them. Makes sense when he has no need to beat anyone but Teshima.
@Exington That's what I thought, it's just the person I was commenting to was implying otherwise and I was wondering whether there was some piece of evidence out there I had missed.
@Broken25 When did Aqua discover who Ruby was? The early chapters dropped hints at who each was but neither seemed to realise they knew each other beforehand.
@Firedragon128v I think it's because she's not liked. The "she's faking it" is probably a way for them to ignore any concern they might have had that she is injured. To simply pretend that she's lying and so they don't need to care about the consequences of their actions.
Until Arthur shows up, I'm still not sold on that he's suddenly evil. He never gave that impression in the previous series, it all ended on a good note there, so if he is acting off then I assume the chaos power he has now must be involved in some way.
That or there's going to be multiple layers...
Knights of the Round table idol group...
Well I was expecting to be confused at whatever this series threw at me. Didn't expect gender bent... *sees gender symbols* Wait a second...
Oh. No wonder the knights were so depressed at what their king is making them do.
@ShinSekai Think potential civil war. Take away the leader, all those political factions will try to ensure the candidate they support is sitting on the throne next.
He's a monster, but they need to be able to safely replace that monster if they wished to kill him.
@icantnotthink He wants a family but from his perspective, that dream is something he would reach step by step. Going out with her, that's leaping forward massively since he would inevitable be a part of that kid's life if things got serious, and would likely impact their relationship from the...
King Bulli started out as an annoying but comedic enemy.
Now we end this chapter with such an emotional moment as this demon offers up his precious horn to help Rei and her friends after all the kindness they have shown him and the other monsters recently.
Beyond that, Rei had so much fun at...
That ending doesn't feel like time to be happy there. It honestly looked like they walked in on the FMC having beaten up the shadow while covered in injuries, smiling like nothing is wrong.
There's no stopping Sawamura know. Second to last inning and he pulls off something like this?
I doubt he will fall at all in this game. So now the rest is down to the team.
