I'm big anime fan, but I want to get it out there that I'm no Otaku/Weaboo.
I'm more diverse in anime, meaning: A little bit of horror, little bit of comedy, romance, etc.
I tend to stay away from fake anime "fans" who just want to gloat about the A-ranked action fighting series, but won't remotely try out any other type of anime.
Aside from people living in Japan, how many people do YOU know in general who would know a single anime that is NOT an Action fighting series?
Action fighting series examples like Naruto, Pokemon, bleach, etc.(Death Note and Danga-ronpa doesn't count)
