I too like to greet people with expressions on my face and say words from my mouth like, “Hello fellow human! I am a human person as well! I am made of meat and skin! Would you like to consume pig fat and chicken menstruation with me this morning?”
Maybe I just don’t have the eye for it, but your redrawing looked just fine to me and I wouldn’t have even known English wasn’t your first language if you hadn’t said anything.
I think it’d be okay for you to have a little more confidence in yourself.
@the_HENTAI_protagonist: Whitepod, the typesetter for the original scanlators of How Not to Summon a Demon King (yes, my taste is garbage, I’m aware of it already), had a legit autistic meltdown because someone edited out his fucking terrible attempts at humor before posting to some manga site...
It’s not so much that the translator needs to keep his opinions to himself. That’s his prerogative. It’s just that his attempts at humor are so cringeworthy that it actively detracts from the manga.
“So older people are more prone to miasma poisoning...”
It’s the Boomer Remover! What up, COVID? 😂
This manga would be so much better if the translator weren’t autistic.
I’d braced myself for this chapter the moment I found out Death Mage got a manga adaptation.
I usually skip to where he meets Zadiris (the girl in the tree on the third page of the first chapter) when I reread the web novel.
It only gets better from this point on.
@hodunk
Then the series becomes about trying to prevent a Third Impact.
Which fails.
John hops in a WAAAHmbulance and rides off into the sunset.
A giant Karen orbits the Earth. Everyone is melted. John is sobbing.
Tiana is there for some reason.
She’s angry at John for being such a colossal...
