You’re telling me they have airlocks, watercoating, coded doors, gas defenses, sentries, and camouflage, but literally no magical defenses for their giant magical machine? Such stupid plot convenience.
Oh well, dragon might be interesting.
Not a fan of the open ending. My take is the professor died while planning but had a backup ai/hologram to guide Robo to the ship to get her to head to NY colony. The stutter is it losing range. Black haired girl is whoever contacted them from America.
This would be really heartwarming and cool if the arc hadn’t been so damned stupid in the first place. Ah well, the spread still looks good. I wonder why he didn’t call Lanka’s sis.
We never actually learned how Fern’s group got their Stille, did we?
You know, this arc has been interesting, but “battle manga” takes so many chapters compared to travels.
Hm. I wouldn’t even call the demons “evil” per se- just incompatible with how humans want to be. Demons need food, humans are their food. They do what they do to get food. Certainly some are malicious, but others, just hungry.
That old man must be braindead.
“You bear an uncanny resemblance to that individual who is a member of a long-lived incredibly rare species. No connections to make here!”
Y’know, for a series about the hero quitting and joinin maou’s army, maou isn’t really a character. It would be nice if Echidna got a bit more development.
Why is it called a slibird? Am I to believe it is a slime in the shape of a bird?
Honestly, I was hoping for something interesting, not a shitty pigeon. An ornery cockatrice begrudgingly cooperating could’ve been fun.
