Honestly, there is plenty of suprefluous text where it could be cut out, jokes that don't need explaining, and times where one goes past a decent punchline and ruins what should be a decent one page skit.

I don't know how to feel about the series continuing when the last arc would've been a perfect closure. However, the author has proven that he can tie the plots together well enough so I'm feeling optimistic about the new arc.
