I'm pretty certain that the "healing ritual" is a manga exclusive addition just like the rapist slime chapters. While the webnovel does involve some sexual activity (Zero's defeat by galactic scale bukkake was in the wn) the artist seems to be tarting the story up a lot.
So Not!DQIII Female Warrior (Raisa's design inspiration) is joined by Not!Tifa Lockhart. What is another popular and heavily sexualized RPG female that can join them?
@Qwertyfox Yes, but the English WN translations are more or less behind the manga. The current translated WN chapter 59 is around manga chapter 26~27 (Eunice arc), but the newly introduced Rolena/Lorena character was part of the first apprentice arc just before Amy's Fire Dragon kill and...
@ksen The other guy is supposed to be Bartz/Butz from Final Fantasy V. The blue mask he is talking about with "Char" is a reference to his game's Blue Mage.
@CommieJohnTeh not really that strange. If you have a 50% chance of getting a character of any rarity and 50% of those characters are Rs and the R pool has 50 characters in it; each individual character would have a .5% chance of appearing every pull if they are equally distributed.
@Greenfrost unless the manga changes things, no. She is pretty much a minor character that has only shown up in the first half of volume 1 of the light novel.
The stripping nude to ride the dragon is something that seems to be manga exclusive fanservice (unless it was something in the web novel...
@cryum The miners have Silicosis which is a sibling disease to Asbestosis and the more famous Black Lung Disease/Coalworkers Pneumoconiosis. Silicosis fits all the symptoms and geological qualities presented.
@REMasher Vorpal Bunnies, like most stuff in Dungeon Meshi, can be traced back to Wizardry. They were a very common enemy on B2 and B3 of the first game and had a 18% chance of instant killing if they hit with their attacks. Their existence is likely a reference to Monty Python's Killer Rabbit.
@famutan English does have a socially predominant gender/status neutral personal pronouns: "I" and "me." What Japan currently has is 8 personal pronouns whose usage is based on age, social status, and gender.
1) Watakushi - the most formal and implies the speaker as socially inferior to the...
@cor3zone Your logic doesn't work and game logic isn't useless. General mmo game logic actually pretty much explains all the problems you have.
As has happened in previous chapters, if someone generates more aggro than Garm the target the enemy then takes aim at is the new highest aggro target...
@Luftwaffles27 In most systems/games, aggro is tracked per individual. Tanks want to have the more hate/aggro than each individual attacker/dps, healer and support.
With more Attackers/DpS, Garm would actually have an easier time as enemies would die faster leading to less chance of Garm...
