Seeing the complaints about Leader suddenly forgetting everything seems justified ... If it is by accident.
I've just had a thought though. Its crazy but within the realm of the possible. What if Baku found a way to trigger those memory loses. He knew about leader having memory lapse and what...
Page 13, the handkerchief was still in the pocket.
Page 15, he is gone. Yakou's left hand is behind him.
My guess is he dropped it when he said "I've known you since you were still a child".
Oh boy ... it barely started and already I'm speculating about what's going on. As expected...
Small mistakes and typos in the translation:
Page 1:
"I dont know why we have all gathared gathered"
Page 6:
"There are things that are better left unsaid"
"Shis This is also for her"
Page 7:
"Something bad happends"
Page 8:
"Ah no disagreeable" given the context of what she is saying...
@Veshv That's a really good point actually yeah. Yakou could have been deceiving him completely in that first fight. I still want Kadokura to win this one, but he'll probably lose. And I'm more ok with Yakou winning now that you've said that.
Well at least the author didn't disappoint. When it started a lot of people speculated that Yakou had a second handkerchief that would also be valid for the fight. It would have felt cheap to go that road.
Instead Yakou swapped it out with a normal one and outplayed Kadokura.
It seems like...
@Skyrin didn't he got shot in the head in the communication tower gamble ? I remember it was quite the injury, it almost seemed like he was dead from it.
That asides its only been a few chapters in this arc but .... god damn it we are off the races ... There is so much happening at once in...
@RapidLord The referees have to have their own handkerchiefs since his got stolen he wont be able to compete.
As to why he is acting nonchalant ... he was expecting to lose his hands from defending Kadokura's blows.
I think part of him knew it already, he couldn't fight against other referees...
@Naiyro seems like it, He could try to take it again next chapter but ... I doubt it
Yakou couldn't do anything against his punches, it seems obvious to me that's ... this is the end of the line as refere 0 for him.
Reading it again, he definitely lost. The punch connected enough to remove the...
I'm with Baku on this one, Leader seems overly cautious, even though he tries to look at ease he is analysing Baku's every word and actions.
As for Baku ... I think he already started the mind games. Baku know the Kakerou rules, a match cant happen without a referee. Thus his actions right now...
@Goldenzeal if he thought her token was a fake there would be no reason to steal it really.
I dont think he thought it was a fake, he took it and swap it out with another temporary, likely wanting to make a better fake with it.
Hence why he wanted to borrow it first even though the one in his...
@optiso I did understand from people commentary that the war is a setup for further down the line. Its just not satisfactory to read. Hence why people are complaining about it.
I see what the writer is doing with this, but so far its a bit clunky and readers may check-out of the manga if it...
To those of you that don't understand why people don't like this arc:
Having a focus on different characters isn't the issue here. The problem stems from those particular characters and the situation they are in.
First characters, the heroes point of view is ... downright stupid. One view the...
@Veshv I meant chapter 434. I think he already understood at that point, not just the law but the people who make it. He first confirmed it, then wrote down the law to Lalo.
I've reread the past chapters, you are right, sadly there is wont be a calamity.
