@laciesche If you put it that way, I don't think they mention any rules about Derek's power over the selection. I simply interpret that he didnt want to kill in front of his lover's kid.
@laciesche Derek can't kill his own son, so he cannot allowed a spectator much less Leatrice's son. The reason he came to kill was because he fell for Leatrice afterall. Therefore, Anisa is trying to stop the situation where Yurik leaves Derek and Dietrich alone.
@fluffymonkeys77 Eww no way. In some ways the second son was worse. He sees Charliz as someone hungry for love and enjoyed the power he had for showing her attention. He keeps showing us he was aware of how she is treated at home.
In short he treats her like a dog.
@Kutabarie Although they call it a fairytale, it was on a pretty serious tone. The "test" might not even be enough to determine if she can guard the family, remember she is seen as a young wife who was a commoner. In our current day terms its like, the owner of a big company gave the position of...
@Limimelo
I don't think we have the right to judge the translators motivation.
But if a translator group fails to upload for a month I think the work is up for grabs.
I will only hate if a translator who is doing it for fun or learning causes a group to drop because they do not want to compete...
@Limimelo@Kagamimocchi
I think it was due to the fact that all these translations are free, the only reward the translators gets is readers reading them.
There are translation groups that puts in effort to manage their time and cooperation to produce them faster at quality.
But many single...
@tralxus One-sided?! A test handled by the priest done in public eye VS private tests by a priest in their own house.😆
That's just like saying an exam done at home is more trustworthy then an exam done at school.😅
I understand you are feeling worried for the young MC but thats illogical.🤣
@JWChibi @tralxus Remember she was originally adopted but was saved by the Duke. That person accused the Duke of kidnap so he had to prove to the nobles that she is of Kallisto bloodline.
@tabiyonq No I don't think they made her a strong woman that moves forward. Honestly it would have been weird that she has anger against the Duke. Her intense fear towards the Duke was probably the emotion you are looking for. She was born a slave and then used as a pawn without retaliation...
@tabiyonq what family lol, she was a pawn given to a betrayer. Even the servants know she isn't favoured both before and after marriage she was simply a puppet.
