@Eridian A strategist stays away from the frontline only when everything goes according to plan. If the war were to go badly and suddenly the backline becomes the frontline then you're gonna have a lot of death happening around you and that's exactly when you don't want your head strategist...

Ugh, another good comic confined to the infernal purgatory of Tappytoon. At least they seem to be up-to-date on this one, rather than their usual "purchase the rights and then translate more than a year behind the raws".

@NotsoFps ugh, tappytoon. They're one of the absolute worst for licensing series: high prices for godawful slow translations that aren't particularly good translations either. It'll probably be more than a year before they're back to this point of the series.

The premise on this is above average. Unfortunately the pacing so far (8 chapters) has been positively glacial. I hope it picks up.

I feel like this little scare was supposed to be significant or lead more insight into Mahoro's abilities, but instead it just felt awkwardly tacked on. At least it makes it clear that she'll be seeing the Ayakashi for the forseeable future. Sort of an anticlimactic ending, but it wasn't bad...

This is one of the most surprising manga I've ever read, and I mean that in a very good way. What starts off seeming like a gag manga turns into a touching (but still funny) examination of love, gender identity, loyalty, friendship, prejudice, tolerance... I could go on. It doesn't forcefeed it...

I was having the same problem for every chapter older than a month or so. Eventually I drilled down and figured out the issue: there's a script that needs to run hosted on mangadex.network that NoScript may not list initially. Click one of the "click to reload" images a few times and it should...

For such a promising intro this sure does get boring in the following chapters. Expected sexy evil elves and gore/vore, instead got tedious psychological horror and betrayal drama in a very conventional looking prison-slash-concentration-camp.

I expected to get a little aroused, instead I want to cuddle small fluffy animals and frolic through a field of flowers.
