Tomies killing other Tomies? Brilliant. The idea and execution are fitting enough for Tomie's character while also being something new to the series. And what more can one ask than a grotesque Tomie talking head?

I find this one amazing. Story wise it draws you in with the painter's slowly descending to madness, but visually? Mind blowing. Might be my favourite Tomie chapter.

I really like this one, a direct sequel to the previous one. Creepy and fascinating from start to finish - the idea of becoming someone else is so disturbing! That said I'm not sure about the inclusion of the teacher and the chapter could have been slightly shorter.

A nice introduction for the volume. No doubt better than Tomie 1. It's an example of how Tomie works with quite the ending. A nice read overall.

Awesome imagery. Tomie finishes her evolution from almost normal school girl to monstrous abomination. As a volume, I think these six Tomie chapters work well. The first one is the weakest, but it works as an introduction to the short haired girl storyline, which is interesting by itself...

If you didn't know Tomie you could almost feel bad for her. Good chapter, quite creepy, the last page with monster Tomie and resurrected Tomie in the horizont is fantastic.

The last chapter of the short haired girl saga. It's shorter than the others, which is nice. MC tries to survive in a spooky castle until monster Tomie appears, the best part by far.

Second chapter of cute short haired girl storyline. Direct sequel to the last chapter, it starts exactly where the other ended. Way creepier than the last one and looks better too, though the plot feels a bit convulted in comparison. The goons being so erratic is probably most of it.

The first chapter of the Tomie series is surprisingly not very good. It's understandable, as literally the first thing we have from Junji Itou. But yeah. The characters are totally insane for seemingly no reason. The art is mostly bad and at times even unintentionally funny. The plot is alright...

I like this one. The concept is creepy, as are the pictures of the united girls. The building up efficiently draws you in. And I totally love the last page, disturbingly funny, why can't Souichi be like this? This last one of and the first one totally make up the volume. If Sword of Reanimator...

Well this was a surprise. The story is quite good and the bad art doesn't hurt it much. On the other hand, I feel like it would work way better as a written story than as manga. Not the kind of thing I want to find in Itou at the end of the day.

Creepy ghosts. It was an alright chapter, nothing too remarkable. I'm not really sure if the weird "it was a dream" part was necessary, and the last page with shadows of ghosts swimming looks a bit unintentionally funny.

It's too long and I don't think the dad plotline and the stalker plotline mix up very well. The second to last page is really disturbing. It could totally have been better.

Weird chapter. Part of it is probably the change of MC in the middle of the story. Hell imagery could be way better too. It's just okay.
