@Ahmadi3D_Ali The main journey has always been about Yulian. The scope of the world is much larger My guess is that's why the author wants to make a spin off/sequel instead of continuing Red Storm as is.
Yeah my assumption based on his comments is the potential spinoff/sequel will about the seals. Since the entire journey of Red Storm was Yulian from a child who wanted to avenge his mother/unify the desert to finally accomplishing both goals as a young(?) adult.
Miko has the right idea. Salt is considered a spirit purifier and can be a deterrent from letting spirits enter a place, but at the same token it if something is already inside and one is blocking the only way in and out with salt, it ends up being stuck with her in the room too.
@twinklecake And that's what makes this one unique in my eyes. That while the author is in an antagonistic role, it's in a world he created. Which isn't really done as far as I've seen from the villain sub-genre but there are plenty of stories out there of an author getting placed into his own...
