@Glassguy3 thank you! I'll take your advice and start over from the beginning - maybe I'll skip the parts about the Spider and see what the classmates were doing. When I watched the first episode of the anime, I was surprised there were human characters that weren't generic "soldiers".

@nnisew Yes. I've read both Memorize and Second Coming of Gluttony. In fact, to better understand the world of SGOG, you need to have read Memorize beforehand. There's quite a bit of references to it after all.

Came here after reading a random comment from Berserk of Gluttony. Said something about this series being profound. 12 Chapters in... Oh my, what a gem this series is turning out to be. Both the boy and March were amazing stories.

It popped up on my feed that the 2nd official LN for this just got published. Let's read the manga and see what's it all about - it should be decent right since its LN's EN Translation is going well? EDIT: 8 Chapters in and I can't say that I'm hooked... Wonder if it will get better. 😅
