Regarding the Carol thing, although it probably is mainly to make her appear more young and cute part of it is probably because she's a slave so not being able to use pronouns dehumanises her so she's not allowed to consider herself a person. At least that's the excuse I use to avoid the cringe...

@SoloSera to Satou, his 'harem' IS disappointing since the only one in his strike zone is Nana and even then, not really due to her mental age, as well as Lulu who has the looks of a japanese idol, but again, too young. Unlike the other hero who's a lolicon (of the YES LOLI NO TOUCH faction)...

@Centurionzo do note he only started speaking up about it when he knew the sister was able to see through lies, so he could be assured that they would have to take what he said as truth even if it's ridiculous to them

@Tikibo reminds me of how the author of Negima originally wanted to do a manga with battle fight scenes and his editor nope'd him and told him to do rom-com like Love Hina, so he complied but eventually snuck so many battle scenes into it, it's hard to consider what genre it is anymore. XD
