The MC is too strong. I liked the teamwork but MC makes it pointless. as of ch66 the conflict is dragging out and i lost track of what it's about. Usually, i would drop, but i enjoyed the earlier chapters and maybe it can course-correct after this arc.

I had a feeling it was a test, but also though this was a plot to sabatoge the team. The character's aren't goody two shoes, but they got heart and seem reasonable for the most part. Normal people. Good stuff.

@Elroy79 yeh, that's true. He could help so many if he just proved to them that he knows the future then distribute the information among allies. Instead, like with so many MCs, he keeps it to himself so he can look cool and have girls say or think "wow! he's over 9000!"

I don't like revenge stories, as the betray often doesn't make sense and makes MCs look stupid. But this has my attention. Yes, MC is OP without trying and gets OP followers. But he is not full of Malice or trying to be an edgelord. He has total commitment to his anti-hero cause and is an active MC.

The problem with these betrayal plots is it ignores the possibility that they built up any trust during their journey at all. For this to be possible that means every general, soldier, citizen, magical creature, friendly gods, would be ok with their deaths. All at the word of an incompetent...

Even the side characters got their chance to shine in this story. When the lady challenged the leadership over the food it ended in a realistic way. She was weak, he was strong, and the whole event was pathetic and they both knew it. It didn't become some big event, and she let her feeling out...

The intensity reminds me of prison school. The harem is awesome. Yandere pervy teacher, a catty best friend, an agent that wants him as her dog. Basically, all the females are crazy and they have good reasons for being so.
