@Kazedoom You can become sympathetic for someone and still dislike them. An example is Mr. Freeze from Batman. Guy has a pretty good reason to do what he does, and I sympathize... but what he does ranges from mass murder to environmental terrorism in the name of curing his wife of that illness.
