@calmbreez a bit? It's very romance-lite. There are a few chapters that are dedicated to stuff like that but it's mostly very shounen in that regard, so not much.
Y'all talking about a death flag in a slice of life romance manga lol. The darkest it's gone so far is just a dude complaining he couldn't make friends because people thought he was boring then the author making it look like he had some Naruto childhood because of it. It would be such a sharp...
@TheNarwhal Because it's a romance manga and that means that the relationship always has to get weighed on a scale against something else. Unfortunately. Inb4 this manga goes the cliche route of her going overseas then a 5-year timeskip showing them meeting again.
@Figroth Eh, this definitely wouldn't be the first manga I've read to do that though. Also, you're counting on the mangaka to write the story in terms of what would be "effective" which is not always the case.
@Markangelo6969 What are you screaming at the TLer for? Do you not know what "NTR bait" is and you're just blowing up at the them for no good reason? NTR bait is when the author makes it look like there's NTR happening (or deliberately makes readers think NTR is about to happen) only to show...
@xyzzy Complaining about this kind of thing in any series with a slave heroine is like complaining about NTR bait in romance manga. It's just part of the genre at this point.
