Maybe it's just because of all the other dumb chapters but I felt nothing at this chapter. If they wanted to make this more of a touching moment then maybe don't show her (the mom) as an icy bitch for the entire series and then pull out a "she really does care" at the last second.

This one gave me old-school Watamote vibes, couldn't even read the whole thing first time around because I was cringing too much.
