@Rannilas
The point is probably to get the passwords of people who use the same passwords on more important sites. Sites which they CAN exploit once they have that info.
Once they have that info, they can do a lot of stuff if they compromise the right stuff.

@Happily_Grim
Your posts are really hard to read.
I was not talking about the announcement of 2FA - just the fact that I made a point of mentioning it in the first post of this announcement - so you either glossed over it, or didn't read it properly. And that was exactly my point - people can...
@Happily_Grim
You have kinda proved how easy it is for people to make simple mistakes. If you had read the announcement you'd have seen it says we have 2FA and even a link to a guide on how to enable it.
And I'M NOT HAVING A GO AT YOU, just pointing out how crazily easy it is for people to not...
We've experienced a flood of old and new accounts being compromised and having their avatars and descriptions changed to spam/dangerous links.

Which is why the accent dies off pretty much as soon as the bonus colour...
@Gooddeeds
Here's what I hate:
What I hate is when someone makes 6 sock-puppet accounts to advertise their webcomic by making fake threads and then using those accounts to talk to themself in that thread - oh, and of course commenting on their own chapters.
I get that you want to increase...
Well like I said, we do not share any info with anyone and we've seen no signs of us being compromised, but it's not like any website can say it is 100% safe.
But it could be just as possible that the loss of data was on your end, right?
We'll be sure to keep an eye out in case anyone does...
@FredFriendly
We don't share info with anyone.
You didn't try to log into one of the fake Mangadex sites and give them your email during our recent downtime, right?
https://haveibeenpwned.com/ comes back with your email as safe still, too.
