Even after what the series has become, I will always think this was a good twist.
I did see it coming a long way, but I still think the execution of the twist was good. The build-up was okay.
It makes sense that he's the last boss. He didn't have his flashback yet.
On another note, I would find it more emotional if the last boss was someone more "normal," so to speak.

Keita's precognition has been around since the beginning. It's just difficult to remember all this because the story drags itself out too long and has several perspectives to follow.
Does that make Keita an interesting character? Not really.
