Bluh, STRAIGHT INTO EPILOGUE, REALLY? We're not gonna go into the discrepancies in their memories, or untangling their past, or Erin's reactions to all this? Awww.
Momo!! Shamiko! Is this the first time we've really, clearly seen Shamiko's dad? Gosh. He and Sakura really did entrust... a lot to the kids. And they're here to support each other now, and they have their friends too.
Worrying about boundaries?? Communication?? Finding it deep in your heart the warmth to admit to yourself that this feeling is worth it?? Guuhhhhh this is good.
"If the weight of your loves isn't equal, you'll suffer" is OUF, one heck of a line there though.
Oh WOW, WOW, wow! I didn't expect Ivona to be so direct about upgrading the official understanding of their relationship between the two of them! This is actually really refreshing, and adorably bold.
The lack of self-esteem and self-reproaching out of evaluating herself based on usefulness to others really... hurts. I'm glad princess is being patient and supportive.
So Yu did consultation streams and *probably* there was a contentious mix-up with one of his viewers that uh... left its marks on him, it seems. I wonder...
They went EVEN FURTHER BACK IN TIME. To before Yaksha's death?! Goddamn. I was feeling like the "half" was actually Yaksha, but I didn't expect her to be Shuri. Also, from WHEN is this Leez? If the Sword can effectively cut through time, she could be from any point in time... but the "current"...
I honestly am finding it rather interesting how this seems to not shy away from discussing *different kinds of attraction* and how shallow some of them can be, as directly demonstrated trough Mei's experiences and traumas...
Oh come oonnnnn, this is a lame way to buy more time for the story. ALso, yeah, it's just weird that she's caring so much about her family now, to the point of shutting Unoki out, *after* multiple mini-arcs about the two of them taking down the invisible barriers between them. Bleh.
Oh, wow, this was the end? I'm feeling kind of sad now. I guess it was too much to expect the manga to continue and go past the point where the novels stopped, but still. Thanks for taking your time to translate these chapters!
Eeeeeee, it's back! Thank you!!
And what a strong return chapter this was. Very vivid look into the emperor's head and his conflicted attraction to her simple charm. There's a surprising amount to unpack here.
This took a fucking grim turn. There's *a lot* to unpack here, and I'm impressed by how much is coming together here! Shamiko and Momo are right, this girl is scum and a wacko, but she's a *dangerous scummy wacko*. Honestly really depressing how easily the town got... messed up from what Sakura...
