We've got 2-3 chapters left in a volume, so it will probably resolve to some degree within that. Still, already feel spent. This is the kind of tonal shift that makes original fans dislike the piece. I hope the author is not planning something like aka straight-up destroying his whole piece...

@Haraken it's a slow burn for sure, but we're almost there. Still, this is not toon for someone who wants good progress. It's either a fairly short story split into a bunch of stretched out parts or something that is planned to go for 500+ chapters with very slow progress.

The gag lost its luster, now we need some change to their dynamics, or it will just be annoying. It should at least seem like Sekime-san is making an effort to get used to it. It's short enough for me not to care enough to drop it, but I'm also not that far away from it.

The last chapter was pretty much exactly what was expected, but it's hard to escape the feeling that the final arc was pretty rushed. Ch 8-10 could probably use 2-4 more chapters stuck in there.
