@OP_Zed Well, judging by how the story goes, he'll likely survive and will either become a converted unit, or (most likely) recurring traumatized paranoid/vengeful antagonist, that will probably grow in power over time. But I sure wish he was just slaughtered there and that was it.

@TitanAnteus A story about a completely inhuman character would be nice too. Meaning completely inhuman and completely alien mind. But I don't think they exist, maybe aside from Somali to Mori. Typically authors try to humanize strange characters.

@WhimsiCat Last time I read the chapter I had impression that MC messed with the box on purpose in order not to receive any rune. Looking at it again, it seems I was wrong, and the box simply can't do a thing to MC's body.
