@nomadicengi nah they're just temporary characters used by the author to change the pov to the enemy soldiers. Just like those disposable characters in Overlord who get half a volume long character introduction.
Damn Farlyn really has the worst luck. Get eaten by dragon, resurrected and join party for a while, get turned into a chimera, and then killed by her own brother.
So even with deconstruction, this still follows cliche where the MC replaces the female lead and gains her reverse harem. At least the MC reaction is really funny and there's the mystery element. Can't complain.
