The chuuni levels are off the charts with this one but holy shit its still a fun read regardless. The art starts off good and improves with time. The fights are straight up epic. The story is like a mashup of HxH and OPM with isekai monsters and level ups, it's good but don't expect too much...

Pretty happy this series takes a hard no stance on slavery. It's honestly concerning how prevalent slavery seems to be in fantasy manga, especially with how nonchalant most are about it as well.

I'm looking forward to Balud teaching this world of the horror that is trench warfare. At least I hope that's how it goes.
