@AMicrowave Chapter 30 @cor3zone That's why the hero divine protection is so rare. It's a huge burden, while extremely powerful. IIRC, a hero is only born when a demon lord is born.

And to think I originally passed up this manga when it was first starting because I thought it was low class trash. Then it turns out it has one of the best endings of any 2010's era manga. Damn.

@Artyummmy Yes and no. Don't want to spoil too much, but things do end up working out for the better after some hardships.

@SuperOniichan Seton Academy is 90% comedy and 10% romance. I kinda liked that the romance took a back seat, especially with such a large cast of cute girls. Whoever wins, everyone else loses, so it's better to just not focus on the romance at all.

@3RDp Just consider how much Touhou manga the Three Fairies comprise. That's pretty much just a slice of life series, and I wouldn't have it any other way. The games are for moving the plot forward, the printworks and CDs are for cute things and vibing.

@pavel94 This is how most Touhou manga, and indeed even the games, are. You read them to enjoy the cute interactions between the characters more so than for the plot.

Everyone's talking about the naive MC trope but I'm just here enjoying the beautiful art. This manga is fucking gorgeous. It's not on the level of One Punch Man, Jojolion, or Dungeon Meshi, but it's easily one of the prettiest I've seen in recent years.

@bobbybiracial Nah, they don't take up that much screen time. More or less, they sort out their feelings about Asley and become part of the "main cast". They're still important and become more likable, but they don't go eat up large amounts of the story after this arc.

@bobbybiracial Now now, they end up continuing their character arcs and become a lot more tolerable in the future. They're still much better than they were at introduction.

Are people seriously complaining that the MC isn't poorly-written Saitama like 90% of other Isekai MCs? OP MCs are one of the hallmarks of a bad Isekai. The fact that Eric can actually face challenge is what makes it thrilling to read.
