Me too... no idea what you mean in the end note about cultivation, cultivation novels, or tribulation. @allenallenallen333 Seems a few of us are in the dark.
*sigh* Occasionally it'd be nice if they didn't follow the trope of the MC becoming OP and "protection!" I was on board for him being a normal unaugmented human feeling the weight of command, having to send the soldiers into battle without being able to lead the charge from the front.
I'm annoyed about ending the story right when we're finally done with what I consider the exposition stage (everything before the couple actually becomes a couple.) You see this often. The story ends at first kiss or the confession. To me, that's when the story finally really begins but sadly...
You snooze, you lose buddy. It's been what? Two years? Three? Dunno if you can even call it someone getting the jump on you when you haven't taken the chance in that long.
Aww, For a moment I thought her seeing that couple might make her conscious of inter-species relationships and maybe picture herself being with a certain someone...
Unagi = eel. Eating eel is believed to grant male vigor. She has a little brother. This succubus looks like a flat chested little version of her. Doing the math... It's a trap!
I don't think the concept of "indirect kiss" ever occurred to me, even as a kid. I guess I was that clueless character that'd share a drink without a care.
"InternetKarma," eh? If you are trying to make some sort of statement, you failed. If this is some sort of retaliation, you didn't make it clear for what.
Hmm... You may have a point. The only thing keeping me going at this point is that there are like 10 chapters left and I figure I might have some closure to put it behind me if I finish it off.
Yeah, I'm with the plot hole camp. She clearly described it as a disposable item with 3 uses. If she hadn't said disposable, I might be on board with retconning "...per person" but it is hard to reconcile "disposable."
EDIT: Ahh... author explains.
So much for "Fufu, Student Council President Amami Akira-Kun. You think you can be alone with Asami in the student council room? Think Again!" (Ch 132, p.9) He couldn't bolt out of there fast enough!
Let's see, an infantry unit can cover about 30 km per day on foot in open terrain with fair weather. 60 km one way makes it about 4 days round trip. Add in some time for fighting plus the climb will slow progress. I wonder what the deadline was... a week maybe?
EDIT: Just looked back a chapter...
@TsuzukuHunter Heh, point well taken. Without the nonsense, the whole plot would fall through. What am I doing trying to apply rational thought to a shounen manga.
@Flavor25 I feel ya. That is a shitty consequence to the choices he's made. Sucks to be in his shoes. He's dug a nasty hole for himself. You make your grave, you lie in it though, right? Choices have consequences.
Option #1 -- He could have chosen to say no, or break up with her. Yeah, that...
@ICYCOZY Because he didn't have the balls to reject her? He said yes. He's not a faultless victim in this. Bottom line is it can be simply fixed if he grows a pair and says one simple sentence to her. That's all.
How much we may dislike her isn't the point. All the things people are saying...
