that was pretty good. my only gripe is that he immediately saw the text message and responded by acting as soon as he read it, yet he reaches them in what seems like 10+ minutes? dunno if you could tell but im really tired of the "hero comes at the last second" trope.

So far I like it.. But typically at this rate, the author tries too much and makes it a slog to read. Hopefully that won't be the case.

@NoahFromIkea In the LN it's Vol. 5, Chapter 2. Be warned that the LN seems to drag out certain action scenes and makes the chapter feel like a word salad. At least, that was my impression when I read it some odd years ago.
