@Logic I mean that's seemingly how the word is in China but it's been moving outward to Japan and honestly even the west. It's more like a 'Great' instead of what you would think when you heard Hero.
Think the queen overplayed her hand here. She had the upper hand because Noah was willing to play her politics game but when you're as strong as he is, he only needs to play that game as long as he feels like. Actually taking aggressive action could change his mind on that really quickly.
@frapco if he rushed the big guy then too many would be the 'last guys standing'. He was already kind of worn out before this whole three-way sequence started.
I think people are misunderstanding Segawa. She's probably more disappointed because he made a big deal of it and then slacked off. She probably took it as him not seeing her and their promise as that important.

@pingustrategist I think it's more because he's thinking his master may not be who he respected him to be. Or at least his method of cultivation may have some serious problems.

@JWChibi There is. It's just the one is scene as the norm and the other isn't. The aggressor is usually in the wrong and to the distant bystander they are. Adventurers here don't think they're wrong simply because they group up all other beings as monsters and therefore even non-aggressive ones...
