The tank girl is basically the worst possible case of someone who enlisted just to get basic necessity, using nepotism to climb up in rank and fighting in a war she didn't really believe in.
And while i am not impressed on her as a character, I must admit her action really...

If a sapient SCP didn't try to escape their containment and overall not a threat to personnel, its regarded as Safe.
So... between Kubota's age gap and Arimura's projecting her ideal Kusanagi, I see people choose the lesser of two evils.
I still got feeling that Kubota got better chance of winning Kusanagi bowl, Arimura's words here readily apply to Kusanagi feeling to Kubota.
But eh, thing can change in the...
Personally, i feel both option for Kusanagi are similarly troublesome.
Kubota for obvious reason. And Arimura-sensei because she (at moment, at least) sees Kusanagi from her own idealized view of her.
But well, this will make thing interesting.
The RNG in Girl's Frontline character gacha can be still quite a-hole. But you roll using farmable resources, so at least very low risk of using real shekel (unless you are so, so desperate or so filthy rich).
In flip side, GFL is the only Gacha game I know that put character skin behind paid...
And to think that this all can be avoided if the King is not being an Asshole and falsely accused the sage and the hero. Talk about self-fulfilling prophecy.

In one hand, this is a case of parental neglect and being an a-hole toward his son.
In other hand, i foresee 'raising our own kid joke' between Hana and Shinichi in future, because baby sis' appearance.
