The ridiculous female character designs were bad enough, but these apparently nanometer-thick clothes that somehow perfectly fit the skin and clearly show every part of the nipple and areola is just too cringy. This story is not interesting or funny enough to put up with it.

Aw, they messed it up. At this point the only reason she should be interested in him is because his awkwardness is endearing. They should have allowed more time for him to actually develop into someone more in her league before dropping something like this.

It's worth saying that if you need to read info dumps from the light novel in order to understand the nuance of the plot, then this isn't a very well done adaptation.
