This is indeed the secret end boss of this story. And just remember - Aki herself is only level 20ish last time we checked her status. She's suddenly thrusted to the ultimate boss only because she (like Wasabi) was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Yuuna is being a little overdramtic here - Mom doesn't really have any right to replace Ponko, considering Ponko isn't their family's to begin with. What she wants to imply is that Mom was about to replace Ponko in *her* life, driving back to remind us that Yuuna is still in her selfish mode.

@kipi - that was the point Noma was making, though I think this particular monster was special more-so than others. The guys are typically murdered outright, or so we are led to believe from Male MC's thoughts on this matter. Noma is just lucky he has trap armour on in this series.
