I do like how much more serious it treats the story over the main series, without too much sacrifice on the main comedic components of the main series.
It will be interesting to read season 2, when the main series goes much more into the serious mood itself.
Just re-read everything - I forgot that Falanus was able to tame beasts - except his definition of 'beasts' include humans. Nanana was not affected thanks to the Null Status Ailments potion, and Falanus was even afraid that his ability would be revealed if Nanana did a Simple Analysis.
I guess...
I'm a little surprised that considering the entire situation that she's in, Nanana defected information pretty easily. I suppose part of it might be that she was afraid of mind reading, but it feels that she's defecting for her own reasons instead of being pressured.
Completely out of there guess that in no way shape or form should be taken with any ounce of seriousness: Himari is actually a time travelling daughter trying to make sure mom and dad get together...
(Okay, you can shoot me now)
Talking about the grandmother, I wished that she was smart enough to tell our MC the problem she's going to get by sticking by her best friend. You got yourself who can see such powerful monsters, and then your best friend who is effectively a fiery beacon for said monsters.
That accounted...
Is this the same group, or do we now have 2 separate /a/ groups on 4-chan?
On a funny note, I was laughing at how Nonoka has such a sensitive nose that she could smell testosterone from afar. I get her - boys and girls do emanate different smells that are fairly distinct, but you'd only smell...
Really, MC walked into that. Yes, these are completely different toys that probably have no reason to ever be together - but that isn't the point when you're playing with dolls. The point is the story creation, not the type of dolls.
Heck, if younger boys and girls were actually able to play...
And yet another chapter down.
From what I understand, Ike tends to pull events and locations from real life anyways. Akayashi are pulled from the generally accepted lore variations of them as well, but drawn in much cuter renditions than most. (IE: really the real definition of 'slice of life')
I agree with @StealthAria - while the chars are handwaving quite a bit, it doesn't necessarily mean we need, or even should take such handwaving without question.
Of course, it is also entirely possible that it's purposely trying to pull a leg, so who knows?
Young Levia is probably thinking: Leo-kun is a complete pervert, he seems to have absolutely no concern whatsoever about looking at girl's panties...
Also interesting to note that it would seem that in the short time that Jennifer worked as Leo's assistant, this meeting seems to imply that...
For some reason, I can totally see Maria deciding to 'test' her husband by buying a lot of mass-produced Marias and leaving a sheet that says "Find me, and if you get it wrong, we will have a divorce."
... I guess I'm being too mean to the poor cop.
Taking crystalized emotions away from people for some other purpose?...
I've never followed Magica Modoka, but reading all of that gives me that general vibe that some serious bleep (similar to Modoka) is going down...
We're already at 100? Wow. That went by fast.
That said, I wonder how many people will be able to handle the 'somewhat monthly' release schedule that the manga raws go at once we actually catch up, since the raws are only up to 115 (for those that don't have v18 raw, that goes from 107-113...
I know that this is absolutely not the case - but the more I see Kurobe sneaking into the chapters, the more I get the feeling that "she knows about the secret".
Which, for obvious reasons, it isn't - she is clearly a side character that runs the role of being the attention grabber, a...
