I love that this series doesn't forget it's basic premise: That they're just playing games for fun.
You sometimes see these types of series get too involved in the game world to the point that the characters act as if it's the real world. At least here they use their built in tension release...
@Marmot This is the only chapter at the moment, brand new series. The next raw chapter is planned to release 16th of Jan. So a bit after that for the scanlation.
@unnaturalsolace The start of this chapter is in the same timeframe as the start of the first chapter, three years in the future when Sumire is running away and promising to save someone.
The whole main story is technically a flashback to when it all started. The basic "I bet you're wondering...
The neighboring country being that far away is effectively making it inaccessible to players. IE: It's unfinished content they don't want people to go to yet. Note the message board saying attempts to visit the country have resulted in battle. I bet you there's no way to actually explore that...

"Readers want a continuation of your isekai novel!" "Ironic, huh?"
"Isekai is oversaturated"
"Authors love people who buy the books"
Author is either poking fun or ever-so-slightly salty.

She's smart enough to see these plants and dismiss them...
Kaoru is Queen of rule-lawyering her way out of any situation.
After all, she technically did show up (just at the back gate far too early), and she technically didn't have any paperwork (because she didn't let anyone give her anything), so she isn't lying to anyone.
Keikaku Doori
FUNA fills their stories with false starts, this is Kaoru's 3rd 'start' and the one which will carry the story for some time.
The first start was when she realised that potions weren't really a thing in this world and she was accidentally displaying miracles, and that as a nobody she would be...
