I'd say normally you'd want to be the last to join a king of the hill type match like this, but as a counterpoint: by now the MC is at least aware of how much more powerful he is than other people and how to gauge enemy strength. I'm guessing the challenge these people pose is so trivial to him...
@gustavus if all he was, was an otaku, then yes, but he's shown to be attentive and caring to those around him. He's got good social skills so his otaku-ness is more a hobby than the stereotypical personality type. It's more fair to say he has otaku interests but if anything this chapter shows...
@duylinh tbh his only shortcoming portrayed here is his obesity. If he could bring himself to lose the excess weight his new looks and existing personality would have him dropping panties left and right lol.

That doesn't make too much sense though. If blue leader's power is the same as Akira's, then when Akira thought of that power nothing should've happened. Akira wouldn't have thought 'his power is a cannon!' but 'his power is whatever I think it is!' meaning the power would whiffle...
