Actually, now that I am re-reading the series, doesn't it feel like they are hinting at something? As in, the Hi Shin Unit is actually superior to the Gyoku Hou Unit?
I'm kind of disappointed in Shin. I just hope he grows smarter in the future, or else he'll need another way to compete with Ouhon and Mouten. He is just a pretty dumb character, and besides his own moments of badass-ness, he hasn't always clicked well with me.
That is not Ouki's glaive, it is a glaive Shin was using to practice with. Ouki's glaive is much bigger and heavier, so he is trying to get used to one. @ryouhira
Y'all complaining about the arc being too boring. Your experience would not have been the same if you were binge-reading several chapters at a time, so quit whining please. You have caught up with the manga, and this is how it feels like to wait every week for a new chapter. Join the gang.
I hope that Rei becomes more humane and recovers so she can join the Hi Shin Unit lmaooo. Imagine such a big power up to the team. Also, I just hope nothing happens to Kyou Kai, since her lifespan has been drastically reduced. I don't want her gone, especially after promising Shin that she wants...
Well, you can't really say Riboku is much stronger than Shin at this point. At the start of a fight, Shin is always a little weak. It's the late game that counts, kind of like how he defeated Rinko, even though he was waaaay stronger than Shin.
