"Didn't I tell you to figure out the subject, for the imperial family who said nothing special..."
Christ, what the hell is this supposed to mean? APS speedscans, please.
I don't feel bad for Cassiel at all. MC knows that Cassiel has it in him to completely forsake her to imprisonment and death if he happens to fall in love with someone that wishes for it. Clearly that childhood promise means nothing to him and he deserves nothing in terms of sympathy.
You might...
@thegiantpossum The ghost didn't do anything except make the beads explode just like some previous ghosts. She tripped on her disguise heels and the railing broke. Both of those weren't shown to have a direct connection to the ghost.
@JoeKerr As in, your head canon with no proof?
I still remember the chapters that @belittled_mia retranslated for us so the dialogue made sense.
However, that was a different case because they uploaded after Haevn.
@Riger In addition to what the others have said, a buffer's most optimal party role is the control tower who gives orders. if the members don't acknowledge that or the buffer isn't capable enough, then they won't show results or they may become responsible for a party wipe.
@Asphodelos He's a heavy sleeper and she woke up earlier is all. Last few pages is showing that he's agreeing to be willfully ignorant of the situation to continue their relationship. He's pretty much giving her the go ahead to give him more "dreams".
Edit: @youdontknowwho I wouldn't go as far...
It kind of sucks that we lost the nuance in Emilyko's sentence in the last chapter.
I didn't even connect Kate's deduction with that line until I read the translation note. Emilyko being clever again deserves praise.
Her home country was invading others' territory to obtain fertile lands for themselves. So it turns out the Barbarians were not in the wrong in this war.
@Dunhban I asked last chapter for a font name, thank you! But I meant the font for the technique name "Ethereal Myriad Slash".
Sorry for the confusion.
Edit: Thank you!
