@Arcara
Well for reference, this arc was about a dozen chapters in the novel, while the arc I'm thinking of is 50ish chapters long. It's also (3/10 to 4/10 level spoiler):
@beperov
Even if the signs were all there and it was hinted a few times for those paying attention?
People love to call anything they don't understand an asspull.
@Arcara
ngl, if you thought this was the Namek arc I have bad news for you on that front. The real Namek arc is still a while away yet. It will begin shortly after Fran (only a very minor spoiler):

As a novel reader, listening to people keep saying this shit is like how back in the early days of the series everyone was angry at Amanda, not understanding why she was being so clingy with Fran, calling her a momcon and wishing she would fuck off and die etc, and me not being...
@dethduck
Yeah, it's so bad they shouldn't have even bothered. An extra hour of time spent on it could have made something out of it, but right now it's just a sad joke.
This incredibly stupid formatting of calling this chapter "Vol. 3 Ch. 43" instead of calling it what it is (chapter 160) is completely screwing up MangaUpdates ability to keep track of it, amongst other things.

@YuriIsTooLewd
It's not, it's a real world that happens to be identical to the game world. The characters from the game will still act like themselves, and things like if it rained on X day will still rain on X day, but he doesn't have any guarantees beyond that.
@YuriIsTooLewd
She's the main girl, he needs to drive her away so she will go journey with the hero instead of hanging around him.
As for any suggestion that he charms her and then asks her to go along with the hero, if that's your plan? Harold's mouth is nigh-unstoppable and his parent's...
@trashzuma101
That's a very subjective question, but this is one of my favourite WNs, so "sure".
@ghostt
If the protagonist fails to save the world as a result of Harold trying to not die and all life is exterminated, that's an even worse than just letting himself die.
