Yeah, this is probably filler. You can't have a story that is constantly on high tension. There need to be some parts that are low tension so that the awesome parts are more awesome. Besides this is actually a set up for a future more awesome scene in the story so I'd say just be patient.
Nice change of pace. What I liked about Monmusu is actually the world-building. Of course, it includes all the ecchi stuff too as that is also part of life. But a few chapters dedicated to showing how having extra species change how the world is different than ours really helps with world-building.
@Nep
I don't think you need to bother replying to Broken25. He cannot think beyond his own experience and choose to judge everything based on his own standards and ignorance. It's hard to change the mind of a person who refuses to understand others.
Akasaka Aka once again delivering. This manga hits real close to home considering all the Vtuber drama that happened recently this year. (Him being a huge Vtuber fan probably have something to do with it.)
@bewoulf You're replying to a comment a year ago. I've already forgotten about this manga by now since I didn't have confidence in the translated text.
Yes, it would take more time to look for an unknown kanji than to make things up. But it also takes less time to OCR the text put it through...
Hmm, is it me or did the translation quality dropped quite an amount this chapter?
It feels like someone just MTL and edited a little to make it flow well but the awkwardness of no-context translation still remain.
It is still quite legible though, so it's not that big an issue.
