These single page releases are driving me crazy. I think I'll put this on hold and come back to it in a month or so. Hopefully it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.
@WineWeed I'm highly doubtful about the slice of life stuff coming back to be honest. The author has shown their intention for the plot through their actions. There was very little SoL to begin with and now it's going to be totally sidelined for a series of increasingly ridiculous "battles"...
MC is inexplicably unlikable to me. I'm raking my brains to try and figure out why.
Hypothesis 1: MC has almost no friends or relationships, when she meets Murakami she is suddenly in love. But isn't it more like desperately monopolizing Murakami's attention instead of love?
Hypothesis 2...
It took 6 volumes, but the character relationships have finally have developed in a really heartwarming direction.
That takes this from a funny but somewhat empty 9/10 to a satisfying 10/10 for me.
very re:zeroish. it does strike me that all men are portrayed as rapists/slavers/cowards and all women are either in need of saving, borderline or both.
Not much of a fan tbh.
Really great premise, but stumbles somewhat on the execution.
Would like to see more slice of life and interaction between family members.
All the drama and misunderstandings don't serve the plot.
